Frequently Asked Questions
What is Blackout Social?
Blackout Social is a private social event for masculine and discreet Black men. Guests undress at the door. Clothing is bagged, labeled, and placed is a secure, supervised area.
Cell phones are not allowed. Condoms and lube are provided. Open bar and 420-friendly. Free parking is available.
Why is Blackout for Black men only?
When Blackout began in 2015, it was open to all. However, bruthas were repeatedly having unpleasant experiences because their personal boundaries were not being respected by others.
We were asked to make Blackout exclusively for Black men to provide a “safe space” where they could socialize with each other. So, we did.
What’s the difference between Blackout Social and Nightcrawlers?
